OT: Walking Map of Paris

I know my questions are a bit off topic... however, I'm also confident that many of you DISers with travel experience in Europe will be able to help me out.

My mother-in-law will be travelling to Europe with a friend. They have asked for walking maps of Paris, Rome, Venice & Amsterdam. Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to acquire these maps... and which ones are the best? ANY info you can provide in regards to walking maps for these cities will be appreciated. I'm clueless!

I love Rick Steve's books with walking tour maps (I believe all the cities you mention are covered). He has on online website (just google the name) and recently added free audio downloads of some of his walking tours/museum tours.
