OT - Vacationing in Panama?

Has anyone vacationed in Panama? Where did you stay? What did you do? Thinking about going next summer with the whole family. Any info would be great.

I used to be a travel agent, always sent my clients to the Royal Decameron in Panama and they always loved it. Usually it's a great price too!

I stayed at the Royal Decammeron for a wedding. It is really nice resort, right on the water. Keep in mind though its on the Atlantic Ocean, so its not the white beaches and clear water you get in the Carribean. Also the resort has a lot of hills. If there is anyone with a handicap it would be hard, so check with them if they can pick you up and drive you around. The food was good. We took a tour into panama city, and did some shopping. I wouldn't go to some parts of panama city on your own, but they have amazing older buildings amongst the poverty. We also did a zip lining tour which was lots of fun. Great weather, and nice pools.
