OT - Tropical fish solar blanket for pool

I was wondering if anyone had ever used one of those tropical fish solar blankets for the pool? We have an above ground pool, (permanent metal kind with liner) If you used one did you find it kept your pool warmer? Did you experience any problems with it, like messing up the chemical balances, ruining swimsuits, etc? Im thinking about grabbing one for the summer and I am wondering what your experiences are?

We just bought one to try out and put it in yesterday. We have a 14-32 inground and hate the look of the regular solar cover so we thought we would give the fish a whirl! Our neighbour uses it every year and says it helps! Let's hope so!
