Houses are like that too up here, unfortunately. My MIL has been sitting on her house for 2 years trying to sell it. It's now listed at $40,000 LESS than she paid for it 4 years ago.
Yeah... I feel their pain! However...tell them to hang in there, as Real Estate always seems to slump when a Presidential election is on the horizon. (I'm gonna turn this thread into a "camping" one now.... )
I LOVED the pictures you posted on another thread of your Sightseer!! IMHO, Winnebago's are simply the best RV for the money. They don't have the "WOW" factor of other brands, but, you get the most bang for the buck with a Winnie, and they are extremely reliable & trouble free. I'm sure there will be some that disagree with my assessment, but we're on our 3rd Winnie (and have owned other brands) but I love Winnebago products. Now.....
Where in Michigan are your in-laws, and where do they want to move to in Florida?

I was soooo excited to see MY name in a post title. Sad, huh..LOL !!
We agree about the Winnebago. Ours doesn't have granite or marble or fancy extras but it is comfortable and something we could afford. It was entry level for us this time. We will most likely go with another Winnie when we eventually upgrade.
My inlaws are in Canton, Mi. About 30 minutes east of Detroit. It's crowded and overbuilt. At one time everyone wanted to live there...and it shows. Now people are selling to move farther out. They just want to downsize and move to FL. The MI economy is pretty scary right now and they are tired of snow.
They actually went down to The Villages last Easter to check it out...a few days after the tornado hit it. I told them they are too young for a senior living place....my MIL is only 51 and my FIL is about 57. They liked it, but not as much as they thought they would. MY FIL is really into golf, so they would like to live in a gated community on a golf course (yawn-lol). They are looking for places within an hour of Orlando so they can be close to her sister. Their challenge right now isn't finding a house down there, it's selling their place up here. Someone came through yesterday that really liked it and set up another viewing. We'll see.
The only positive I see to them moving is that we will have an excuse to visit FW each year
