OT : Suggestions for a beach????

We are traveling with our 4 kids and would like to take a day to show them the ocean. What is a good beach to visit that isn't too far to drive? Thanks for your help.

We went to Coco Beach on our last trip and it was less than a hour away. We have also been to Daytona and New Symrna. Coco Beach had some hurrican damage at the hotels so it was really dead, but the kids really seemed to like it!

Our vote is New Smyrna! It was beautiful and the sand was like silk!
