Hello All ~ It's been eons since I last spend time on the DIS boards. I miss it!
I've been battling a head cold and will give into it on Thursday when I have more time to be sick....heeheehee.
Cmas is done....just have to wrap and do the turkey thing on the 25th. It was easy this year. I stopped sending cards and stuck to a budget!
I have been working hard with TWO jobs! I'm 43 years old and if I want to retire at 60ish and work at Disney World part of the year, I have to sock away the rsp's now! My income also pays for household extras and vacations. We are in mid-house-reno....yikes! We have a couple of vacations in the works. One is June 2008. My niece is getting married in Raleigh, NC. So we'll drive to DC for a site-seeing day and then 5 days resting in Virginia Beach before heading to NC for the wedding. I think we might head to Alberta in the summer to visit the Drum and the HOODOOS! They look awesome!
One of my jobs is as the Program Director in a before and after school recreation program. I work 7:15am-9am, then get 6 hours off and go back to school from 3pm-6pm. I fill those in between 6 hours with a second job working for Reptilia's Education program coordinating from home. It's a lovely job. I get to promote conservation and work mainly from home. I do a couple extra hours for Reptilia in the evening on my puter. Time flies because it's an awesome job. I get summer's off my school job and will be able to work for Reptilia from my summer trailer in Acton because my territory is Halton.
I'm listening to my Disney music [Illuminations, WISHES, Tapestry of Dreams...etc.,.] drinking honey tea and burning incense. It's my little break time before starting more Reptilia work.
I'm looking forward to the Christmas break. Give me time to revisit vacation planning.
We want to go back to WDW around April 2009. We adore the anticipation and planning process. 15 months and 3 week away! It will go FAST!
Well, thanks for letting me stop in with my tea and chat.
How are you all doing?
Blessings, Sandra
