OT - Snowing in October!!!

I can't believe it that it's actually snowing right now! I live in Central New Jersey and when they called for snow I thought that it would be in the northern counties NOT us - SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had our first snow todat too, in the north of scotland. I can't remember the last time we had snow in October. Looks like it might be a cold winter

I actually saw 1 or 2 flakes here in Flintstone, GA this morning on my way to drop the kids off at school.

We are in Central Jersey too! I don't think I ever remember snow in October! We are leaving for WDW in 8 days - hope it warmer down there! This is nuts!

I'm in the middle of England and we have snow right now! (my kids are stood nose to window because it's such an odd occurance in October here!)

Lots of snow here in Mont Co. PA. YUCK! Plus, it makes me long for those nice warm days we spend in Fl at WDW...

Middlesex County, NJ here and it started snowing at about 11:30 this morning and it's still going strong - thankfully not really sticking

It started snowing here in the Poconos early this morning. My DS didn't have school today, thougth it started as a delay. As of noon Tobyhanna/Mt. Pocono had 10 inches of snow and it was still falling!

We had our first snow last Wed. I definetly am not ready for winter. We live in CO though, so we've had snow as early as Sept.

Us too! Even though I'm in Canada this is very early for us. Don't remember a snowstorm hitting us before Halloween. We're expecting 5-10 inches tonight!

Global Warming my Patootie!

It's FREEZING here! We're not used to this in October...I normally wear my flip flops until Halloween

My husband said he heard on the radio that this winter was supposed to be a bad one...but they didn't say that it would be starting so early!!

No snow here in South Jersey, but it sure is cold! DH was up in central Jersey for work yesterday in the snow and said it was really coming down and the drive home was horrible. I can't wait to leave this messy, cold weather next week and experience the Sunshine state!

And yes, this is no phun for the Phillies! I hope this mess doesn't get them too off so they can wrap this thing up tonight while they are still at home! GO PHILLIES!!!

So we "officially" had 1 1/2 inches of snow here in Hillsborough, according to the Star Ledger - UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Get ready for a cold winter! I'd like to ask those "global warming" people as to what they make out of this snow in October

I wish were going to WDW now instead of TWO years from now

My DDs are in a cheer competition this weekend in Wildwood and I'm hoping that warms up enough to walk on the beach at least

Yeah, the Farmer's Almanac calls for a colder winter on the East coast all the way down to Florida. We live in Miami, and this week it got down to 53 degrees! I know that to most of you that isn't a big deal, but to us in Florida that is rare. In Kissimme it was in the low 40's this past week, and this weather is not common for October at all!

We are going the 3rd week in December, and I hope that it isn't too cold.
