Ot==snow day tomorrow!!!

WOO HOO!
Huge storm headed our way tonight...snow for 36 hours...9-12 inches when all said & done. Blizzard level winds starting tomorrow night...so we are set up for another snow day Weds.
DH & I are both teacherts---YIPPEE!
Now I can finally finish decorating...do some baking...sweet

Enjoy your day off! I am in Iowa and hoping for a snow day here, too. Although I am hoping for a weather miracle on Wednesday. My hubby just got back from Iraq and has to drive from KS to IA on Wednesday morning. He'll be so disappointed if he is stranded because of weather!!!

We get the storm in Illinois tommorow afternoon/evening and blizzard blowing conditions for Wednesday. DS has a chorus concert tomorrow night that he will get an F if he doesn't show for storm or no storm. Knowing our school they won't call off. They had us driving in all the snow last year but called off two days that were like 20 below zero go figure?

Hi from another NE member! My kids were so excited to find out their school was called off tonight. Now we don't have to set the alarm!

I attend classes & I'm still waiting to hear if mine are cancelled. I finally finished a paper due tomorrow so I guess I'm glad they didn't tell us. If they had, it would have been too tempting to put it off another day!

It sounds like it'll be too cold for the kids to go out & have fun but it'll hopefully be nice to have a warm, cozy day inside!

Our snow is supposed to start tonight in Milwaukee! I hope there is a snow day tomorrow. I am going to make some cookies We are supposed to get 9-12inches depending if the low stays over Chicago or not.

Last report called for just 6 in of snow here followed by sleet and freezing rain. Supposed to have a Orchestra and Chorus concert tomorrow night but with the freezing rain I am betting it is rescheduled.

Here in West Texas (Lubbock) we're on a 2 hour delay - the roads are a sheet of ice. Current weather conditions - freezing fog! As a recent transplant from Key West, I can't believe this weather.

Oh, when you are a teacher snow days are a gift from God! When I was student teaching I was at a school that never had snow days. The one day that I did not have my lesson plans ready we had a snow day! Saved! It was awesome!

Okay, I've gotta go against the grain here. Snow?!?! YUCK! You guys are nuts! I can't stand the stuff. I live in Indiana, and still don't like it. Can't convince DW to move to Florida, preferably close to Orlando area.
