Anyone ever visit Smugglers Notch resort in Vermont?

We spent a week skiing there a few years back - very nice resort and very family friendly! We have several friends who own time shares there and go with their families every year and love it. They have a great website.

I grew up in VT about 45 minutes from Smugglers, so have never been there as a tourist, but I've had adult friends who've gone there and loved it. And I can say that it is beautiful! There's LOTS to do in the summer as well -- don't think of it as being just a winter destination!

We spend a lot of time in Stowe, VT - just over the mountain from Smugglers. As the others have said, it's beautiful! Winter, Fall & Summer! (Spring is wet & weather is iffy) Smuggler's is a very family-friendly resort - lots of activities for all ages. There's not much to do right outside of the resort, but head over the mountain into Stowe and there's a LOT to do! Skiing in the winter of course, a ton of outdoor activities, great shopping, dining, sightseeing. We LOVE that area (love it so much we bought a vacation home up there). Have fun if you decide to visit!!!

We have a little vacation home in Stowe, which is just down the mountain from Smuggler's Notch - or "Smuggs" as it is often called. Just like ekball we vacationed in Stowe for years and love it so we bought our own little "Stowe-Away."

We have several friends who vacation at "Smuggs" and we have heard rave reviews! Lots to do for the kids in a camp-like setting, Mom and Dad, and the entire family together - it's extremely family friendly. Actually, some friends of ours love it so much, they are buying a condo there.

I also have to say that it is beautiful in the fall, winter and summer. Not so much now - the Vermonters call this their "mud season." Doesn't last long though - pretty soon it'll be green and gorgeous up there.

Okay, even though I'm heading to WDW tomorrow banana: ) after thinking about Vermont, I'm ready to go there too!
