3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons milk
1 15 oz package creamy white frosting mix
red and/or green food coloring
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
Place butter and milk in a 2 quart microwave proof bowl. Cook on high for 45 seconds, or until the butter is melted. Stir in frosting mix. Cook on high for 1 1/22 minutes, or until slightly bubbly. Stir twice during cooking. Stir in desired food coloring. Add peppermint extract. Drop mixture by teaspoons onto waxed paper. When cool, store in an airtight container.
