OT: Selling Winter clothes on EBay?

When is a good time to start listing Fall/Winter clothes? I would like to start ASAP to save money for our (hopefully) fall trip to Disney! TIA

"Back to School" seems to start up in July. I will start getting ready after July 4th. August and September are my best months.

You could also start now by putting up some 30 day fixed price. It's .50 to list and you get 30 days exposure. Put it at a happy price and it might sell. Then later you can start 7 day auctions with what's left, or keep up the fixed price if it's working for you.

I've started listing fall/winter clothes in July. I have a ton to sell this year and will probably start my listings in mid-July.

I find you want to follow the patterns of the department stores. You primarily want to list your items about 1 week after they show up in the stores and before they start going on sale; if the stores are putting out great sales on new clothes used clothes are less apt to sell for top dollar.

Using that as a rule of thumb I found I do best if I listed the kids long pants/shirts items the first week of August as people want them for when school starts. Winter Jackets, Snow Pants, Gloves, Hats, Snow Boots are best listed in Late September/Early October.
