OT: San Diego Wild Animal Park?

I'm hoping someone from San Diego might advise as to which San Diego Wild Animal Park tour to do-is the beastly bedtime (overnight in the park) worth it, or maybe the family caravan tour is enough? I've heard the photo safari is good,but my kids don't meet the age requirement of 8. any advice would be appreciated!

it seems like people are very knowledgeable about this there. (usually local people) Sounds like a great time!
