I was so nervous to check in on this thread tonight as I hoped for good news. Tears and chills came to me also as I read your post. I am so happy you did not hear the worst. Continue to keep your chins up and your prayers going for a speedy recovery. God Bless. :flower:

What great news!!!!!The hair on my arms is standing up. I hope he continues to improve, let us know what the infection was that mimicked a mass.
:cheer2:

I too anxiously (but hesitantly) checked this thread to see if you had posted.

I cannot express my happiness to you and your whole family for the wonderful news you received today.

Although a long shot, a co-worker's husband recently went through a similar situation wherein he lost over 23 lbs. in 10 days and was very weak. Early tests did not reveal much, however it turned out to be a bacterial infection that he had picked up somewhere, possibly camping. He is now on his way to being 100% and enjoying life once again.

I wish you and your husband all the best as you face the days ahead. Maybe your Disney trip will not be too far off after all :cloud9:

Take care!

Oh, I'm so glad! We have been praying, and I will continue to pray for wisdom for your doctors to find what is causing his symptoms. It's good to be reminded that miracles happen.

I do believe in miracles. God bless all of you. And some added:sunny: blessings to all who showered your family with prayers. We will continue with the prayers.

Wow!

I do believe in a personal God who hears prayer and sometimes intervenes for whatever his reason may be.

Wishing, hoping, AND praying for the best possible outcome in this situation for you and your family. Have patience, faith, and courage and you will get through this!

Who said miracles don't happen? Good things do happen!!

You're going to enjoy that trip to Disney in spades !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a great day after all. It's a great day after all. It's a great great daaay.

This is one time I'm going to enjoy hearing that tune in my head.

God is still working miracles in peoples lives today! I am so elated to hear of your wonderful news. And we will continue to send prayer for your DH as the doctors try to find out whats going on.

What great news! May God pour His richest blessings upon you.

:grouphug: Dearest friends, Do you believe in miracles? well this afternoon we met with Dr. Carlos Fernandez at Mass General in boston. He examined my husband, did a complete physical, and then took his 2 sets of Cts to review with a radiologist. He returned a short while later and informed Kevin and I that there was NO mass on the 2nd CT...and no evidence of lymphoma! :cloud9:

He still feels that Kevin is sick (dropped his hematocrit acutely in 6 days and has loss sooooooo much weight in 2 weeks! Not to mention the jaundice) However, he feels that this is some sort of infectious process that he may have even picked up in the barn. He referred us to an Infectious disease specialist for further work up. Needless to say, we will all sleep toinght better than we have in 2 weeks. He is still very, very weak, but he has no evidence of cancer!!!!!!

We were elated, numb, emotionally spent! I just can't believe the roller coaster ride this has been. But the very first thing Kevin said as we left Dr F's office was that it was the prayer!!! Without question. Although I do not know any of you individually, consider yourself hugged as tightly as one person can give another human being. I CAN NEVER THANK YOU ALL for the good wishes and support. You have meant more to me these last few days than you'll ever know! God Bless you all! Kristie

I have been checking to see when you would post an update! I am so thrilled! :cheer2: Hopefully, they will get a good infectious disease specialist to figure this out and take care of him!

All the best!

wow that is awesome. i an glad to hear what could and will be agreat ending to a sad beginning. hope you are all sleeping better and have a stressless (you need it) life....get that bull dozer ready

:grouphug: I am SOOO relieved at the news that your DH does not have cancer. He will most assuredly remain in my thoughts and prayers as he recovers from his illness. Please tell him that so many of us are thinking of you and your entire family. Warmest wishes for the speediest recovery!!!!

Wow this is fantastic news! I am not religious in the traditional sense but I do believe in a higher power, Karma, and what goes around comes around. All this positive energy certainly could have made the difference, I am so happy for you and your family. Hopefully they'll diagnose and treat your husband's illness soon, and all will be well again--physically and emotionally.
