I'm making potato salad for a party on Sunday. Saturday will be a crazy day and I'm wondering if I can cook the potatoes on Friday and mix everything together Sunday.

Can you mix it all the day you cook the potatoes? My MIL swears the salad is better if the potatoes are warm when you mix every thing. That is if you have enough room to cool it after mixing. I have to agree. Her recipe is the best!
I would just make the whole thing tomorrow, make sure its sealed tightly and keep it in the fridge. I think things taste better the next day, anyways! One thing out of the way!
Another for making the salad for the day you cook the potatoes. They will absorb the seasoning better that way. Also the flavors will meld together over Saturday and taste better on Sunday. Make sure to stir it before you serve it on Sunday.
