OT----Polly Pocket house ?

Is there such a thing as a Polly Pocket House? My daughter is getting into Polly pocket and wants some for her birthday and Christmas. I picked up the fun ship and she talks about a PP House she plays with at school but I haven't seen any in stores or online. I haven't seen any on ebay either (I want a new one anyway).

So, my question for Polly Pocket fans, does a house exist?

My daughter is starting to outgrow her polly things and we have a lot, so I know about the houses. There are houses which have magnetic floors and come with furniture.

Are they big houses or something smaller that folds up and you can carry around? I noticed a few things seem to be able to be folded up so you can carry them with you.

There also are houses for the clik it clothes. There is a Hotel, an amusement park, a shopping mall, a ski lodge..... hmmm let me think.... Oh yes there are plenty of "houses" for the non- magnetic ones.

Now she's telling me they have a PP hospital with newborns. I'm guessing these are old toys that have been in the classroom for years.

We have several of the "houses" but in all honesty my DD4.5 only plays with the dolls and clothes/accessories. She plays with them a lot (and has for over two years) but she has never really played with any of the houses. She also doesn't enjoy the magnetic ones as well as the ones with soft plastic clothes.

Oh a hospital with babies? hmm I don't recall there ever being baby polly pockets? But there is a doctor so maybe... I agree though that with them it is all about the dolls and the clothes. My dd is 9 and is still playing with them and she plays with an 11 year old that still likes them too! (but it is clothes and dolls not so much the stuff....)

Yes, she said a hospital with newborns. I saw an animal hospital online but no hospital. I'll check out some sets tomorrow at TRU. Thank you for all of your help!

My guess is that she is talking about the sweet streets hospital by fisher price. It has newborns and a mom and other pieces. They are sorta the same size as fashion pollys that you have rubber clothes for(but not the really tiny polly pockets). Many people call the fashion polly "Polly Pockets". Can you tell I like toys a little too much? the sweet street pieces are some of the best toys we have ever bought. We have almost all of them: houses, theater, fair, pet shop, beach house. I can't even remember them all. My girls like the hospital the best. The hospital just came out last year so you can probably still buy it.

You were right! The hospital she was talking about was by Fisher Price Sweet Streets, not Polly Pocket. Thanks!

kritter, I did pick up the PP fun ship but it's a birthday present so I'm not sure if it will be a hit but my daughter keeps asking for it. Hopefully someone will be able to let us know how it is.

I was also going to say the hospital was the Sweet Streets. My dd loves Polly's and Sweet Streets. She often uses the SS houses for her Polly's. We've been doing Polly's for about 2 years now and I have never seen an actual "house" for a Polly. Not a doll house type at least. I have been searching for a while.
