If it is then im wrong to.

 hi bob!

:wave2:

Oh no!! I've had that before - staff at Doncaster are esp rude and I always seemed to get stuck there when I was coming home from uni :headache:

Well, what happened today that made my blood boil was as followed:

1. On our train from Barnsley to Leeds, it suddenly stopped dead in the middle of nowhere. We were left waiting for half an hour, and nobody told us what the hell was going on.

2. When we got to Leeds, there was an announcement saying: "Take your stuff with you when you leave the train."- No apology or anything!!!! Then another announcement came over saying: "Our delay was caused by a signal failure.". Again, no apology! Despite more than one oppertunity!!

3. We'd missed the train at this point, so Robert went down to the office in Leeds train station where the people in the office totally ignored him, despite him knocking on the door twice!

4. Eventually, a surly bloke showed up and told us to get a train to York and we could join the train we'd missed there. Looking at the times, we knew there was no way this was possible but he was insistant (IE: Wanted rid of us!) so we went.

5. Got to York at twenty past one, and found that our train had left at 12:30, which was before we'd even left Leeds, so the guy from Leeds was obviously lying, and had sent us on a totally unneccessary journey!

Needless to say, we're writing to complain!!

Log houses, that is fun. I remember doing that when i was little. Will you be making a house aswell Karen?

I'll have to make one as a demo. I'm not sure my kids are going to measure their wood all the same length, it will definately be fun!!

Hi everyone - just a quick hello as I have my taxi hat on tonight. The kids have school discos tonight :)

That's early in the term, isn't it?

Still laughing at the idea of the the Christmas tree being booted around the room.

bet the children are hyper tonight

Yip - although DS is begging for his bed but he has to wait for DD to finish her Disco at 9.15 - DH is out tonight :confused3

They will all be tired at school tomorrow :confused3

Oh, and as a result, we lost our reserved seats! Small thing, but when you have loads of luggage its a big deal! And we had plans for this afternoon that had to fall through!

Yup complain Bob - who was the train company. I was once on a train that set on fire :scared1:

I ended up sitting in the rubbish compartment as the replacement train was so busy - sitting on bin bags for 2 hours was a nightmare!!

I wouldnt care but it was one of those "new" cross country trains!!

Scotland is 2 weeks :cool1: We dont get a week in May though

But you finish earlier than us for summer, I think? They keep talking of changing to 4 or 5 term years, but we are no nearer it.
