I can't wait to go back to WDW, but it depends on our friends and their DVC points. Plus I don't really want to go back until the new Harry Potter bit is open at Universal which won't be until Jan 2010.

Oh, I'd forgotten about that. Me too! I'm such a Potter geek, I'd love it. I am determined to go, but like Emma, I don't want to go with the kids until they are old enough to enjoy and appreciate it. How far in advance can you book? Do they ever have free child places, or is that wishful thinking? lol

Ooh, Joolz, we went to WDW for a once in a lifetime trip too! Then we went back again, and plan on going back again! Once in a lifetime does not happen there!!

Who am I kidding?:lmao:

Yeah I picked up so many tips from here before our trips. Plus I loved Tour Guide Mike and when we went to Disneyland in the summer I loved Ridemax so I would use that for WDW as well.

The 1st time we went was during out 5th anniversary and our best friends had booked a special meal which they were paying for as out present. But they knew I had researched so much they made us change buses 3 times before we got to the California Grill as if we had gone there directly I would have guessed straight away where we were going!!

When it comes to WDW im a bit of a novice as things have changed since i last went (with the most non disney person ever:lmao: ).

I booked 6 months before we went, but I would grab the cheap flights first (they are released 11 months in advance) and then book accomodation. But sometimes a package is cheaper - it just depends on when your going!

I defo agree about making sure your kids are old enough, I got cranky at times and I'm 25!:rotfl:

You can book years in advance, they just don't garantee the price until about a year out. As we book through DVC though we can only book 7 months out for the home resort (Beach Club Villas -my favourite DVC resort!) or 6 months before for other resorts.

Hahaha I love it!!

I'm such a geek I make sure I keep up to date with all the info from WDW, DLRP and Disneyland. Now heaven help when we can really get to Tokyo and Hong Kong! I would have to start a whole load of new research then!!

We went to California instead of Florida but I would love to go to WDW. I still love DLRP....

Hahaha I love it!!

The thing was even before we left I knew it had to be one of two restaurants, so for most of the buss ride I was pretending I hadn't got a clue! Bless, they tried!!

i had a really weird dream last night that involved boy george,my brother, the castle at DLP and manatees lol.

I want to go to California - Dana your trip report planted the seed for me as it looked amazing!

:confused3 I'm confused. How can you book years in advance? Is that only with Disney direct? You can tell I'm clueless!

I love saying that I have never paid to stay at WDW! But it is kind of true! Our best friends use their DVC points so we stay in a 2 bedroomed villa at a deluxe hotel and we pay for their flights. It's a great compromise! My best friends used their points to pay for us to stay at the Grand Californian at Disneyland in the summer, so I didn't pay to stay at Disneyland either. And yes I do have the best friends ever, and no they can't be your best friends!!!!

Goodnight all, have to be in work for half 7 tomorrow morning to get some paperwork/printing done.
Have a lovely day tomorrow everyone and I'll hopefully be online tomorrow night either before or after swimming.
