Why is it called California Adventure park, i find that a unusual name for a Disney park.

Because the park is themed as California stuff (Hollywood areas, Californian vinery areas, redwood forests etc), and it is an adventure park I guess because it contains more thrill rides. It is a great park.

The sun wheel (or mickeys fun wheel as it will be next year) was fun. We went in the stationary cars though. The swinging ones looked evil, they came with sick bags!! I loved the Grizzly river run rapid ride and the calofornis screamin rollercoaster.

I bet he is! I want to be there again! It will be interesting to see how he compares it to DLRP. When we were there I spent quite a while talking to the CM's about DLRP and saying how nice it was. Many of them said that they had heard it wasn't very nice. I corrected them!!

Quite a few said they had heard the CM's were rude and that the park was small. I pointed out that the Disneyland Park was bigger than the MK at WDW.

Yep I'm old! It is windy and rainy here as well but the main reason I'm cold is we've been sat in the ice rink watching the ice hockey all evening and it was darn cold in there!
