I think we may have to and take it back and eat it in the room...

Also no Auberge for us in January, looks like we wil have to brave the below minus temps to meet the Princesses.

why dont you do Auberge and leave Inventions til another time - its better doing Auberge while Kyra is in the Princess stage. It means you can meet the Princesses and shelter from the cold in the day time

Are there no other places in the park open for dinner? Or does the park close early?
I don't think I have ever been in the McDonalds at DLRP! Actually I'm not even sure I have walked past it!!

The park shuts at 7 but where money will be tight just after Christmas I can't go mad and book all the expensive meals. Inventions will cost me just under 100 euros as I'll have to pay for Kyra.

Was thinking this-
Monday- Annettes, Tues-Inventions, Wed-Cafe Mickey Thursday for lunch-somewhere cheap and cheerful.

I'm going to have to pack a lot of snacks aswell.

Kyra didn't like the food at the Auberge which was a pain, even though i loved it. If i can save 75E somewhere we might get to go there.

To eat at all them places including the Auberge I will need 275Euros.

Which could possibly mean only 150euros to spend on snacks and food.

Poundland for Christmas maybe lol.

How about doing the princess lunch instead of Inventions. That way you can meet the princesses in the warm and still go to meet some of the other characters at the mini show in the Disneyland hotel like you did last trip. Plus you will see quite a few characters there in the morning for breakfast anyway.

OK my bad...

If i save up I should if the Euro stays how it is 575Euros so that means we can eat at all them places and still have a few Euros for spends.

I also get paid the day after we arrive so thats a extra £100 to spend.

I can afford to do both!:cool1: It saves to work out your money :lmao:

Everyone you need to make sure I don't go on eBay lol.

Thats great Emma. Maybe you could still go on ebay to sell stuff, that way you can have more spending money!

I think I sold everything that was sellable last month :lmao:

I just hope Kyra eats the food at the Auberge this time. Then again if not, more food for me :lmao:

So how much more will it be for Kyra now? I'm thinking we perhaps should take my nephew before he is 3!!

Rob, this evening you will be near one of my favourite restaurants in the whole world (the Napa Rose at the Grand Californian) and you want Crispy Duck!! I'll trade with you!!

No trade Karen - I'll just take the best of both world's and request a crispy duck upon my return :goodvibes

Kyra will cost me a extra 20Euros in Inventions which is a lot when all you had to pay for was yourself. Plus the drinks are expensive aswell. 4E for a orange Juice and 12 Euros for 2 cokes. Might have to sneak in a fruit shoot or 2 lol.

I've already eaten my crispy duck anyway!!

You could still drop into the Napa Rose for a look anyway, it is beautiful. Actually the whole hotel is beautiful.

Yeah, drinks are very expensive. One thing I love about DLRP though is that I love champagne, and as it is in the champagne region the champagne there is the same price or cheaper than you pay at home!! When we go as we go in the car we always take our kettle and travel fridge so we can take drinks and keep them in our room, and make an afternoon coffee!!

Your taking a travel fridge? What a fab idea....wish i had a case big enough for one.

I think I'll sneaking drinks into the hotel bar lol. You don't have to pay for a drink to sit there do you?

Just looked at the tracking of my Disney package and its already in the UK and on its way to the people who will post it to me. It was only dispatched yesterday.
Hopefully it will come on Monday morning.

Yeah, our fridge plugs into the car to keep cool, then has mains power as well. You don't have to have a drink to sit in the bar I guess, but I think I'd be tempted to buy one and make it last a long, long time!

I was hoping to just chill out in there with a book while Kyra does some colouring, i guess one drink won't break the bank :lmao:

I'm still debating on Disney Express as i think once i open my case at bag search I won't be able to close it again without sitting on it :lmao:

I would probably have that problem too! I'm glad we are driving and so don't have to go through bag check!!

I might book it last minute depending on what money I have left after Xmas.

I really wish i had learnt to drive, would make packing a lot easier :lmao:

Good evening everyone, just making my tea before chilling out on here, mustn't forget to go and pick my son up just after 9 as well!
