Im too young to adopt you :rotfl: :rotfl2:

:lmao: Oh well it was worth a try ;)

I am doing than next month! We are paying for us and my parents to stay at the Disneyland hotel!! I want my parent's 1st Disney experience to be magical!!
See I would love to do that but mine just dont get it...:sad1:
I never knew the tipi's were there. I suggested that we have a DIS meet/party in the Tipi's in Pochontos Village:rotfl2:

Aww that sounds like fun!!

Can you adopt me? Age really shouldn't come in to it.:rotfl:

I can't afford it! Have you any idea how much it costs for 2 rooms at the Disneyland hotel during Halloween week!! Actually we have already paid for it all, don't remind me!!

I used to be a kids party hostess, and I can honestly say that was the straw that broke the camels back.... Up until then it was a 'maybe one day' but then it went to: 'Don't want kids'..... I won't say 'never' because you never can, but I do get cross with people who won't support our choice not have children (Robert doesn't want kids either) and who just say: "You'll change your mind!".... Nobody ever says that to people who want kids, do they?? Sorry about the little rant, it just drives me mad!

I used to say I never wanted children, was the same after my niece was born but when my nephew was born in June my attitude has started to change to a maybe. I like children but could never see myself as a mother.

I respect people's choices, if they want children then that is ok. The same if they don't want children

I work with someone who told me a few years back that I should be married & have children:mad: , err excuse me that is for me to decide & no one else

It is a contant battle Bob - you start going out and everyone wants to know when you are getting engaged - then married - then when are you having babies - if you have one they want to know when the next one is coming - if you dont have they want to know why :scared1:

I absolutely agree. Having children or not is a personal choice and people assume that they can ask all sorts of intrusive questions. When I was pregnant with my 3rd, people asked me if it was an 'accident'. Another friend of mine has a daughter and can't have any more children and yet people are always telling her to hurry up and have another! Why would you change your mind? It's not like you don't know your own mind, is it?

Joolz it has been horrible. It annoys me now as my lessons are usually graded as good or outstanding because of all the training we have had (and we know how to jump through the hoops!) It makes me so angry that I have to proove myself all the time because of our school status.

It's ridiculous to have to prove yourself so often. What good can that possibly do? Special measures does the opposite to what it is supposed to do.

DH is waiting for the day that the kids will take us to Disney :rotfl:

I took my parents to Disney, except they paid for it:rotfl2: they would never have gone if it wasn't for me:thumbsup2

For some reason I'm struggling to keep my eyes open tonight so I'll head off to bed, supposed to be my day off tomorrow (part of it is for paperwork) but have to go in for yet another meeting at lunch time - good job I didn't have anything planned for the day!

Goodnight all.

Mrs Tigger, I'm not sure my parents will get it either, but they are looking forward to doing something their only child loves. Plus they are looking forward to being spoilt, I have told them all about the Disneyland hotel already. My dad is a Yorkshire man so not really used to posher hotels!!

Goodnight Diane see you tomorrow

Being a Yorkshire man doesnt mean you cant want/enjoy the posher hotels - Mr Small World cant wait til we stay in the DLH.

I got really annoyed with Robert's mother a while ago.... When she found out we didn't want kids, she went mad and told us we were being selfish because she wanted grandchildren!!!! Robert went absolutely beserk with her and told her it would be worse if we had kids and didn't want them!!

She also tells everyone that: "Robyn doesn't want kids."..... We always have to jump in and point out that: "Robert and Robyn don't want kids.".... I do get annoyed with my friends who always say that I'll have kids, that I'll be a great Mum, etc..... No-one seems to want to listen to people that don't want kids! I've got nothing against people who want children, but it annoys me that a lot of people think that just because I'm getting married I should automatically have an urge to start having children!

Oooof! That turned into more of a rant than I was expecting! Apologies all! All I actually wanted to say was: In my opinion, if you want kids, fair enough. If you don't, also fair enough!

That annoys me too, I don't want children either. I like kids, I love my nephew and adore the 8 year olds I spend my day with. I just don't want kids of my own.

Considering I choose not to believe in a single omnipotent being (as such), then that would make you non-existent and powerless to me :thumbsup2

What an utterly brilliant response. I grant you honourary female status.

Bob, I guess we are lucky my parents and DH's parents have never mentioned it.

I guess I should be honoured.

I've taken online testings which say I have a female brain anyway - I'm quite poor at the typically male tests.

I just noticed your reply to my post was in my post that you quoted! Lol! I know, it really annoys me. People keep asking me why I'm getting married if I don't want kids!! I often make this face:  and move on!! Lol!
