Found out my mums blood pressure is so high shes on the on the verge of a strock or heart attack. Rather worried about her now. Hopefully the medication can bring her blood pressure down or otherwise she will have to go hospital.

sending lots of emma - no advice, as my bp is low, but know what its like trying to be strong for a parent..... am sure the medication will start workin and help her

Good Evening everyone

Emma I used to have low blood pressure but had it taken in January and it was dangerously high (the bottom number was about 130) . I had to go for a few checks then they put me on medication - its now down to normal so hopefully your mum will be fine once it kicks in

I didn't realise that in order to take advantage of EMH you need to have booked a package (room at a Disney hotel + parks tickets)
I thought it was available to anyone staying in one of the Disney hotels. I booked room only at the Santa Fe with Expedia.

Looks like i am going to have to buy a Dream Annual Passport after all.

I didn't realise that in order to take advantage of EMH you need to have booked a package (room at a Disney hotel + parks tickets)
I thought it was available to anyone staying in one of the Disney hotels. I booked room only at the Santa Fe with Expedia.

Looks like i am going to have to buy a Dream Annual Passport after all.

I thought you only had to show your hotel pass to get past the cm filtering guests by the side of DLH to the entrance gate (along with a ticket to get in of course!)

All you need is your hotel id pass that you get when you check in to take advantage of extra magic hours.

Morning everyone ive popped on *** im very excited as me and dd are of to sheffield tomorrow for Disney on ice ,we are having a girly day out round meadowhall ,doing lunch and then to the show. The tickets where from mr Tesco and ive a rail card so it was only £18 return from hull for the both of us so in all its a cheap day out. The fuuny thing as my dd is 12 and at high school she is taking the day of but has told her friends she is at a wedding as at high school disney princesses are sooooooo not cool (she is excited though bless her)

We had our day trip to DLRP yesterday. It was good & I enjoyed it but I really hope next year that they bring back the proper Christmas parade as I feel the Once Upon A Dream one doesn't fit even though they put Santa the end.

Apart from one CM being difficult & not stamping our hand when we left to go over to the Studios causing problems there The rest we come across were brilliant

The park was busy but nothing major & most rides were walk on

i think i was really let down by the parade. i love the ouad parade but even if the characters wore christmas costumes might make it more festive. it just feels like santa is thrown in at the end which i guess he is.

Definitely agree - I have quite a strong dislike for the Christmas version of Once Upon a Dream Parade.

I remember the days when they had a specific Christmas parade, with it's own special music (originally the nutcracker). After that, they used the normal floats (back when it was still Wonderful World of Disney Parade) but still had special Christmas music (Chante C'est Noel). But that all changed when Once Upon a Dream Parade came in - away went the festive music, away went the christmas costumes and even away went the real life reindeer.

This (amongst other things) is one of the reasons why I've lost heart somewhat with DLRP lately - particularly at Christmas. While it's still "special" and "magical", I really do feel that they're doing "just enough", where as they always used to do some really special things

i have actually complained about something and to disney lol that doesnt feel good to me lol. i decided to complain about the hotel in the end. half my trip was ruined somebody should at least know about it lol. its the first time i have ever complained about anything. it takes a lot to get me riled up

The first christmas of the OUADP they still used the real reindeer and santa seemed more prominent. Last yr i was really disappointed as he looked as though he was just stuck on the end - there were no reindeer and his float seemed smaller or less significant somehow

ah thats gud at the very leasts they might sort out the state of the room in the santa fe., hopefully you might get something from them. have you decide if your going to upgrade for your march trip?

me and my mam are still discussing it. we are on opposite ends of the argument i feel ill at the thought of ever staying there again. my mam thinks we had two wonderful trips there and just treat this as a blip. being realistic if i am paying five hundred euros more for the hotel i wont be able to afford to go twice a year. so we arent sure yet unless i win the lotto or get hypnotherepy to rid myself of my spider/bug phobia

ya i know its hard to know, but as you mum said you had 2 great previous trips, i hav to say i found it fine when we stayed in jan, but i did think cheyenne was a lot nicer considering there was very little in the price, so that could be an option aswel maybe. I cant decide what to do myself
