The weekend's here!

Just had to share a little story from work that I thought would make you smile.

I sent the women in my office a link to my trip reports on here, forgetting that they weren't familiar with the abbreviations. Anyway, one of them thought that when I was referring to my Dear Husband as DH that I meant
... D _ _ _ H _ _ _ !

I know that I gave him a bit of stick about the video camera but I wouldn't be quite that rude!!

Had some great news today. Met my friend for lunch & she asked if I fancied going to NY with her as her other half doesn't want to.

We had spoke a while back about going but never got round to it. We haven't booked anything yet but looking at going in February next year

How exciting!!! We went in February a few years back for Valentine's weekend - it was freezing but wonderful! (Snow was still on the ground and temp about -10!) Don't imagine we'll be back till DD gets a bit older - oh well, at least we can go to DLRP!!

I love snow, I last went in April a few years back & I got sunburnt sitting by the river. I packed for cold weather but it was warm.

I'm quite happy to go to DLRP but I will never turn down a chance to go back to NY

Good morning everyone

I'm getting in a disney frenzie Only 3 sleeps to go School holidays no more work for 2 weeks

Going into town shopping today. I've got a 20% off voucher for new look so off to pick up some things for the trip. Then tomorrow going to meet Helenlou for disney planning

DS's Welsh class are off to DLP for the Welsh Festival next year, unfortunately for him he's had to miss out on the trip as we've already paid for a Humanities trip in January to New York and Washington and really can't afford both.
To soften the blow I explained what a lucky escape he's had, because there's no way mum would consider allowing one of the family to be at DLP, when she's at home and how embaressed would he be if he kept bumping into me.

its pouring with rain here , my friend invited me round for coffee, i went out of the house , and turned back , its horrible lol

am getting soooo excited now , only 11 days to my holiday , weeeeeeeeee

and a few more posts to the 1,000 mark lol

It's pretty miserable here too, that horrible fine rain that gets you absolutely soaked. (not that all rain doesn't get you soaked of course) I'll shut up now!!

I am sure you will make the 1,000th mark today.

Having said that, as much as I love Disney if given the choice out of Disney or NY I know I would go for NY 99% of the time

Its seems to have stopped raining here but is still very overcast, it was pouring hard yesterday.

Just got home from picking Kyra up and we are both soaked!

Lunch, then its snuggle up on sofa time after i've done some cleaning yay.
