It might be worth you taking a look at meebo as you're still struggling... Small World and I use it a lot for chatting to each other when one of us can't get to a computer with full msn on it for some reason.

It's very easy to use - just go to the website (www.meebo.com), enter your msn username and password in the msn boxes on the main page (middle of the top row) and then click sign on in the bottom right.

That should then bring up something resembling msn that you can use to chat to all your normal msn contacts etc as if you were using normal msn

The only thing to keep in mind is that it's done as part of your internet browser, so make sure you don't close it by mistake, otherwise you'll have to log in again. I've done this a good few times my mistake and while not actually a problem, it's annoying when you're trying to chat somebody and you close the window half way through typing something important

Gosh there is a lot of catching up on here to do so don't think I can!!

Bob - sorry to hear about your car - urgh I hate cars - it's like having another mouth to feed!! Hope you get it sorted at not too much cost!

Nikki - glad to hear it's your last night. My DH used to work nights several years ago as part of his job and he hated it - really messed up his body clock. Fingers crossed for the transfer!

Emma - what are you like I nearly choked when I saw those photos - I'm sure my DD1 would cry if she saw that Peter Pan! As for Ariel, ahem, well, what can I say, was it a drag queen parade???

Weather been odd here today - sunny then showers all day but v hot.

Had to go and buy DD2 new shoes today, she's had her others 3 weeks and outgrown them already Have also just had to buy DD1 school shoes, trainers and trainers for home as her feet have grown too - why are children's shoes so expensive especially as they are zero VAT rated I'm so skint - but did scrape together enough cash to get our spending money yesterday - was quite pleased with the rate (well, it's rubbish but better than most) 1.1356 ....

evening patsy. i know what you mean about shoes. ash has really narrow feet so the only shoes that fit her correctly are clarks. one time she grew out of them after three weeks and they cost me 45 euros lol

Aw Sonya, I have probs with Clarks for DD1 so end up having to get Spanish or German shoes - as you can imagine not cheap!!! Her school shoes cost the earth and I just know she'll wreck them in half a day! I don't understand it but she has fairly wide feet but a shallow instep so 'mary jane' type shoes never seem to fit unless they are european shoes

I wish I could just go to NEXT or somewhere and buy them both shoes!!

Have a bit of a dilemma - rang the airline tonight and then the airport about taking a carton of rice milk on the plane for DD1 (she is allergic to cows and soya milk). I really don't want to take it in the hold (it's a cardboard 1L carton) as I can just imagine what will happen to it - the cardboard is never v good on them. Her consultant wrote a doctor's note to the effect of her prob with a request that we take it as hand luggage. But the airport have said that it will have to go in the hold! Or alternatively, split it into 100ml bottles and put in clear bags - but once it's opened it has to be refridgerated!!

So, what would you do? Try and wrap it well and hope that it doesn't burst in the hold? Or not bother - prob not an option really....

Anyone taken anything like this before - how did you pack it?
