Work is really busy as well and with this new software I've been putting in alot of hours at home this week, plus I normally get Friday at home to do this paperwork but was in work for 11am yesterday and home around half 4, next week due to staff on a first aid course I'm working all Friday so have to fit things in during the evening.

good morning fellow disney addicts!!

hows trick this morning? I have recovered from drinking too much on Friday night...my god I lost a whole day yesterday!!!:lmao: Good wedding though, really enjoyed it:thumbsup2

Off to both set of parents today...:)

Good morning

Planning to do some cleaning today:lmao: I feel like I'm on the wind down for summer. Only three and half days to summer hols:yay:

Oh and 2 weeks 4 days to DLRP:banana:

Mornign everyone!!

Oh fiona, I wish I was going to DLRP in two weeks!! This time last year I only had a week to wait!!

13 weeks 4 days for my next disney fix. :(

I'm not coping well with the secret excitement. I've nearly blurted it out a few times. Booked halfboard premium yesterday and need to phone dining to book restaurants.

OH says he doesn't want to talk about it until 1 week before:eek: I tried to tell him about dining and BBWWS, inventions and auberge last night and he just said it was like background noise cause he'd been at work all day:sad2:

morning all,

oh i wish i was going back to disney in 2 wks too:goodvibes, were booked to go back in nov but im trying to figure out can we still afford it prob not:sad1:,
we just booked our flights to oz were going for a mth in october visiting family. so now think we may hav to do the disney trip in march for st patricks day instead.

Good morning all,
DH and I were chatting about when we would next likely be going to DLRP. Our next trip will be with family, my SIL, BIL and nephew. I'm not sure what age is best to 1st go with our nephew though, we want him to be old enough to ride the rides and not be scared of the characters. What age do you think would be good for a 1st visit? He's 16 months now so we have plenty of time to plan!

When my DD was about 2 and a half she started to be more aware on trips of characters etc. Enjoyed cuddling them:goodvibes and enjoyed the gentle rides although Pirates was her favourite (she has always liked the dips).

Yeah I was thinking around that age, maybe next summer holidays when he would be 2 1/2 or October half term when he would be 2 years 8 months. I think we would do a trial run to Alton Towers first to see if he is OK on the kids rides there.

I think personally I would go for October as the parks are quieter and you'd see the Halloween decs etc.

My niece was 20 months, whilst she wasn't keen on many rides she loved the characters.

Good afternoon everyone :goodvibes

Afternoon, how are you today?

Hi all.

Back home from Jack's mums. There was a bit of stop start traffic both ways, but the journeys weren't too bad really.

Before we left yesterday the cat brought a shrew in. We spent half an hour trying to catch it but it got under a dresser and we were getting late for leaving, so we had to just go.

We thought we'd be returning to find it's head mounted on the wall and the cat wearing new shrew-skin boots, but there is no sign of it anywhere, and now I keep imagining I'm hearing rustling......

Afternoon - im not too bad thanks - just waiting for it to thunder here

We had a really bad thunderstorm here yesterday evening. It was chucking it down. It didn't do much to the temperature though:headache:

I have competed my TR:)

We did & the weather was great, only 1 hour of rain the rest was lovely sunshine. Hope the face didn't put you off:rotfl2:

Afternoon!
I've enjoyed reading your TR Nikki, haven't finished them yet - off to do that now!
We haven't had any thunderstorms just very heavy rain around an hour and a half ago, thankfully it stopped in time for me to rush out and buy some milk!
Very muggy here still.
