morning all

i was up all night with ash sick. my cousin is having his baby christened and i really dont want to go.ash seems fine now but im wrecked. she is still a bit hot but not throwing up. would it be really rude to not show up lol

I think you've got the perfect excuse - that Ash has been up all night being sick and although she seems better now you dont want to risk her throwing up everywhere and over everybody

I don't think it'd be rude not to go. You can't risk her being contagious either. Especially with a baby.

no it wouldnt be rude, u hav been up all night with ash. i know if im up all night with the girls im spend the day on the couch flaked out, while they run around like they were never sick. Glad she is feeling better

I'm in the same boat, it's one of my closest friend'ds daughter's birthday's today but have been up all night with Amber being sick. I'm so tired and Amber is really drained. I've just rang my friend to apologise and she's totally fine with it :)

Morning all, hope all the poorly kids are feeling better today.

Well I'm living the dream and going to Asda in a bit! Not really in the mood, but we're getting desperate for food now and mum and dad have said they'll do a BBQ at theirs for dinner, so at least I don't have to cook today!

I think Jack's mum is doing a BBQ this afternoon. I'm very excited to get a bit of a tan and have a day outside!

Getting nervous about the drive though, which is so silly as I've never had a problem on the motorway, I just hate merging on. Once I'm on it I am pretty much ok, but I can't shake my silly nerves!

morning,

im not leaving the house 2day, the fridge is full and the tennis is on the t.v a perfect day:)

Hello everyone, seen as I haven't been on this board for severl weeks I thought I would just stop by and say Hi! I have been busy on the WDW boards planning our WDW trip in 6 weeks time! I hope everyone is OK, I am still super busy at work. 3 weeks until the summer, but the 3 weeks will be really busy. Our school is having some building work done on it which will last for 6 months so we have to clear out classrooms, help people move, empty rooms that are being knocked down and re built etc! Oh and then I have to go on residential with 30 kids ages 9-11 the week after next!!

Hi Karen

I noticed you hadnt been on here for a while.

Where are you going on your residential? Any where nice?

DD has just had to move out of her classroom this week due to building work - shes not happy as she says its all squashed now

We are going to a Kingswood Centre in Staffordshire, it is really nice (I have been there the past 2 years.) The kids are going climbing, abseiling, karting, archery etc which should be really fun. The centre is in the middle of the countryside and on an evening all the wild rabbits come out and hop around the grass which the kids love! The best bit is that the staff there look after the kids from 9am - 9pm! We just have to be there to supervise.

Torsie, I feel the same about coming down any slip road.... I get very very VERY nervous.... I hate it and I always feel sick before any car journey where I know that a sliproad is involved!

I'm very well thank you although not sleeping very well at the moment. Spent the day doing a mixture of housework and relaxing!
How about you?

Im not sleeping well at the moment either.

Ive been doing housework and some paperwork for work - i dont like bringing work home if i can help it - Ive been good recently but this time of year gets really hectic for me so I always end up doing loads at home

Good afternoon all:goodvibes

I have a had a good week on my driving course. There are 3 of us, me & 2 guys (such a hardship;)) We have all done well. We are driving a Ford Galaxy at the moment & in our final week we will have the Mercedes Ambulances. It was fun doing 100+ down the dual carriageway. It was my turn at driving & the instructor just told me to put my foot down, even though we are in a unmarked trust car & we haven't covered response driving yet. However whilst on the course we can trigger the speed cameras without any worry as we won't get fined etc.

Have spent most of the week shopping as our instructor likes shopping, not complaining as we are being paid for it:)

Oh & I have put the 1st 2 days of my TR up:rolleyes1

Sounds fun Nikki

Im going to have a read of your TRs now as well
