Ok i need your help , our landlord has just been round , and is getting new carpet for the lounge :cool1:, and asked what colour we wanted. , this is where i need your help ?

the walls are a creamy colour , altho can be changed , the sofa is a wine colour , there is a green carpet down now , so would you stick with green , or go for another colour ? if so what colour would you choose ?

thanks

Id go with a biege colour.....then if anything was to change ie sofa or walls then its a good base colour???? by beige I don't mean like a cream 'will get black in no time' colour!!:)....kinda like a wheat a bix colour????..we have that in the bedroom and anything goes with it!!

The show was really gud but i wouldnt go to another show in citywest again unless i was driving its too far outa d city. We got the train up to dublin and then the bus out which is grand if the buses are running on the way back!!!

DD2 luve it shes is 3 and it totally princess mad!! but dd1 only liked some of it shes 4 she was scared of the aladdin scene and actually started crying when the big dragon came out of the castle:scared1: said she doesnt want to see any princess again:sad2:

oh no sounds like a bit of hassle and i need to be hassle free lol. no im from cork. ash has just turned three and she is starting to get scared of stuff as well. she would probably have been afraid of those bits too. it sucks as a lot of her fave dlp rides are now scary to her. i hope she snaps out of it before march lol. she loves potc i let her watch some non scary parts of the films. she is obsessed with jack sparrow, loves the themeing and the music and she is scared to death of the drops. she was fine at 22 months and at 26 months but in november she was scared and she still talks about the drops. i tell her they are only small but she shouts out no they are big huuuuuuuuuge drops :rotfl: she still went on it a couple of times bless her.

Ya it was far too much hassle tbh, If it were on in the rds i would go again but not to citywest:sad2: I prob wouldnt have mind so much if ava had enjoyed it more.

Morning everyone! Well because of the snow the kids are off school again! Looks like more snow ball fights today!!:cool1:

Evening all,

I can't believe the last time anyone came on this thread was the 6th of Jan. It used to be soooooo busy and now it's as dead as a door nail.

Hope everyone is ok, i am still deliberating over what to do with my Dad's hashed job of the wallpaper, everytime I look at it it seems worse than before. I don't want to upset him in anyway but it truly is terrible, i think he should of gone to specsavers. :rotfl2:

oh no poor you and your dad lol. how long is it up?

i know i was surprised not to see this thread in a while

:rotfl2:

Do you not have any wallpaper left?

Could you not hang up some photo frames to cover up the worst of the mess?

No amount of photo frames is going to help this wall :rotfl2:
I can't understand how he has got soooooo bad at hanging paper, he used to be a dab hand at DIY. It looks like it had been hung by someone who hasn't got a clue. :rotfl:

I may ask my boyfriends Dad what he thinks next Saturday when he comes to put together an ikea wardrobe. He decorates quite alot so I may have to go and buy another 2 rolls and let him do it.
I'll have to tell my Dad he caught it and ripped it or something when putting together the wardrobe otherwise he will be well miffed with me.

Will he even notice the different if you get the same wallpaper?

Oh yes, especially if you can't see any of the joins which you can at the moment, every bloody one.

He knows it's bad as the first thing he said when he popped in to see how it had dried out was "it's a bit seamy". Then went on to blame the walls, light and even the £20 a roll paper.

He's prob embarrased he made such a bad job and is trying to blame everything else.

Hopefully you can get it sorted hun

I know and that's the only thing that has stopped me from ripping it all off myself. I love him to bits and i really don't want to hurt his feelings as i am really grateful for his help.
But..... I just don't think I can live with it like that.:sad2:

I know and it was on the same page for a month - i used to have difficulty keeping up with the thread at times

I think we need to keep the mods on their toes again - Batman and Wonderwoman or whatever we used to call them :rotfl:

yep i agree small world we have been too good for too long lol
