That's the last bit of assessed work I need. I've still got to demonstrate my work, but there's no marks available - it's a requirement but not a marked one.

I'm sure she will be fine once she gets there. She is probably a bit scared

I bet when she gets there she will forget all about wanting to stay at home, when she meets loads of new people:thumbsup2

I'm sure she will be absolutely fine, I work in a pre-school and would say that most of our children settle really quickly, we let parents stay for as long as it takes to settle and for us that works really well.
Keep everything low key, only talk about it if Ash brings it up and make it sound like such good fun (it is anyhow!), reassure her that you will stay and play for as long as she needs you. Take a special toy or comforter with you and let her know it's there if she needs a quick cuddle.
The people running the pre-school are there to help you, they have probably seen it all before so never, ever feel as though you are alone or the only parent getting upset - you aren't.
Last of all remember we are here to help you whether Ash settles quickly or takes her time, pretty soon you will be enjoying a couple of hours to yourself, I promise!

Evening all. A miracle has occured, the ambulance service have finally sent the reference paper out to be filled in by my old uni lecturer. Its amazing after I phoned yesterday to say it had never been received it arrives:rolleyes:

thank you so much diane that really makes me feel so much better. up till last week she couldnt wait to go so i think the thought of it might be a bit daunting for her. she will be fine, its me i should be more worried about i will bawling my eyes out on the way home :lmao:

Evening Nikki

They are certainly messing you round arent they. I hope you get that transfer soon

Sonya she will be waving you off after a few days, Kyra practically pushes me out the door at pre-school :lmao:

I emailed DLP yesterday about the Minnie Party Train limited edition pin that was released on August 8th to see if I could buy it via mail order, well I can for 12.90 euros for the pin and 9.68 euros for postage - not sure about it now!! Plus I'm not happy sending my card details in an email!

yeah i wouldnt either diane. i am gonna get ash a lanyard before we go so she can get some pins. she thinks they are great and i like them too. so i can say they are for her ROFL.

Aww Sonya - she will be fine. I think Diane's advice about not bringing it up unless she wants to discuss is a good idea :thumbsup2 I'm sure she'll love it and you will too once you get used to it. I must be odd, I never cried when DD1 went to that or creche :lmao: She did go through a little phase of being upset when I left her at creche and then I got upset and didn't want to leave her but it didn't last long - her being upset that is!

Nikki - funny how the form turned up :rolleyes1 They sound rubbish!! Hope that transfer happens quickly!!!

Rob - well done mate, lol at the ink but glad you got it sorted! :thumbsup2:cool1:

Diane - I agree about not sending card details through email. where as doing it through the internet is secure (won't go into details but basically card details sent from webpages with that padlock symbol on are kind of "jumbled" before they sent and are then only "unjumbled" at the other end), doing it through email is totally unsecure (no padlock means no jumbling, no jumbling means anybody could intercept it and read the full contents :scared1:).

There was one last, final sting in the tail with my project report this morning - as I was walking into town to get my bus to work (to get it all bound etc), it started pouring down with rain. Needless to say I put the box the project was in into my bag VERY quickly and luckily it stayed dry :thumbsup2

It's all bound now though - I've sealed and addressed the copy I'm submitting in the envelope and have addressed it, so all that's left it to drop it off at the post office and pay the huge bill (either going to be £8 or £20 depending on whether it weighs under or over 2kg :scared1:)
