My husband has an opportunity at work to possibly relocate our family to Charlotte, NC. I am wondering if anyone knows or has firsthand experience on services for Autism offered there. My son is 4 and is diagnosed with Autism. Here (in FL) he is in ESE Pre-K with speech and OT services through the school and is placed for a moderate Autism Kindergarten class for this coming school year. Would love any information anyone can give us. Thank you in advance!

I am in NC, but not in the Charlotte area. I just learned about the Exceptional Children's Assistance Center, they are a wealth of information and have offices throughout the state. Try contacting them, they may be able to point you in the right direction for the Charlotte area.

I don't know about specific school services, but there are people who move to North Carolina b/c of the statewide TEAACH program. Its services are free and available for life. Do a google search for information about the services. There is a TEAACH center in Charlotte, I think, and there also is one in Gastonia. I'm sure they could direct you to the information you need.
