OT: New baby to add to the collection!

I was reading a website about sugar gliders. It said that they all had their own unique smell. Is the smell of the sugar gliders compareable to a ferret?

We have ferrets too, but there is no way they compare. As long as the cage is kept clean, there isn't really any kind of smell at all (no more than a cat or dog... but NOT a wet dog). Now the ferrets on the other hand... LOL. Actually, if you clean their cage at least once if not twice a day, they smell like popcorn.

LOL that is cool. My mom does not like the smell of ferrets, and I was kind of interested in these so I did some research. LOL thanks for the info!

Lol... that would be the ferrets. The sugar gliders we do once a week as well.

The ferrets use a litter box we just clean it out once or twice a day to keep the smell down. Entire cage is about once a month or so take apart and clean all the hair off lol. (<-- charmed)

Sugar Gliders are awesome pets! I've never had one for myself but one of good friends had a couple. They are very social creatures too. They do not like her husband though! The little male, Geronimo likes to hang out in a sling that you wear like a necklace. Awww.

The adult female is Gizzy, the nice male is Gizmo, the mean male is Stripe and the new baby sounds like a squeeze toy for animals so her name is Squeekers.
