OT: need your ideas for prom themes!

OK, I am junior class advisor this year and we just found out our prom theme was rejected by administration. It was going to be AN Evening with james Bond 007, but because of the guns & martinis they say 'no go'.

Any unique ideas, songs, themes, etc. It does not have to be Disney related, although I am sure by asking it here there will be some good ideas along those lines.

Our prom theme is going to be 007 (hopefully administration will aprove it). We are making it very clear to administration that there will be no references to weapons, it is more based on the suave, sophisticated secret agent parties. Maybe if you explain it to them like that, they will rethink it??? If not, here are some other ideas-

what about trying hollywood glits and glam in the 1940's.
if they still say no try fun in the sun.

You can try to come up with themes that are similiar to the type of look you would have for james bond......

Black and White
Glam Casino (gaming tables if your school would go for it)
Masquerade
Madi Gras
Evening in Paris or any other similiar option
