There is a new product called Miralax. (It was on sale at CVS a couple of weeks ago). It is a laxative with a stool softener.
DS has a lot of GI issues and battles constipation. One particularly severe time I tried the Miralax. You mix the powder in a beverage and you can't taste it. DS usually fusses, but he didn't notice it. It didn't work for two days, but then...whoa. I maybe should have just given it to him one day instead of two.
We've tried so many things in the past. Have even been to the ER. This is the first thing that really worked.
