OT- My name is Emma...

I used to work in the cop when i was 16...£2.50 a hour...im guesing times have changed since then in the Supermarket world.



I just dont have a long attention span.

And you think I do?

Any time I start doing my coursework, I end up here at most 10 minutes after starting it... How I get anything done is a mystery to me.

as i was always told - u can do whatever u want, just sum things might be harder than others

my oldest starts school in september (15th) and then my youngest goes to preschool 5 mornings from january, and i kinda feel i want to find a job of sorts for those hrs, but then, i want to enjoy the time for me to watch MY tv, and do what i WANT dont think i cud stand goin to uni or doin a degree...... way too old for that now!!!

agreed - open university degrees are perfect for people who have other commitments.

I wouldn't have the time (or money) to do my MSc by physically going to the university every day and staying in housing or halls, so I do mine by distance learning so I can work.

My dad used to joke with me that Sainsburys has the most qualified staff as 3 of us who worked on the Customer service desk had all just graduated from Uni Sadly i'm the only one remaining, fingers crossed not for long though

surely not!!!!!!!!!!!! i just do it as its evenings, and i dont have to pay for childcare!!!

emma - of course, kyra is a few months older than cayden so we both get peace - but i get 3 hrs a day (15 hrs a week) - is urs not longer??????

as for open uni - i guess i cud, but havent a clue as to what, and willpower and motivation is sumthin i wud need to buy as have neither

Yep!! Distance leanring is brill for many reasons, you dont even need to do a degree there also lots of short courses too.

Said i will think of something to tell him next week....any ideas people that wont make me look even crazier?
