Sounds good!! Our staple Chinese order is Sesame Prawn Toast (For me), Spare Ribs in BBQ sauce (Robert), Shredded Crispy Chilli Beef in Chilli and Garlic Sauce with Chips (Robert)..... And then mine changes constantly! I love chicken with ginger and spring onion with fried rice!! Yum Yum!!

Has anyone been to a place called 'The Pagoda' in Wakefield? Thats a fantastic Chinese restaurant.......

I love crispy duck personally, although I usually have lemon chicken and chips.

My absolute favourite though is honey and garlic chicken, but I only know one chinese takeaway that sells it and we don't live that close to it any more :sad1:

Im well and truly stuffed now - it was yummy.

5000 posts wow - well done Emma :cheer2:

Another trait of a good chinese meal - you always eat far more than you should do.

Hmm, think I might see if I can have an M&S chinese in the week after all this talk - dinner for tomorrow's already planned, so it won't be chinese then :thumbsup2

We adore crispy duck too...... Love it love it love it!!

I can't see honey and garlic working together, but I'll trust you!

They're fantastic - and I don't really like honey on its own :thumbsup2

I've tried making some myself by frying some chicken in a honey and garlic puree mixture - it makes a good mess in the frying pan when the honey starts burning because of all the sugar, but it's quite nice.

Thats normally what we feel like when we leave The Pagoda..... Robert orders these chicken and beef skewers in garlic sauce from there and they are amazing! You get bleedin' loads of them like!! We always waddle out to the car park, then when we get back to Robert's parents place, we waddle into the living room and sit and complain we're too full!!

Have you tried mixing the honey with some groundnut oil, and then adding the garlic? If you marinade it in that mix and then stir fry it with some groundnut oil you might not get as much burned honey.....?

I'm back and just booked a room at the travelodge in ashford in January for £9 woooop lol!

That sounds a bit technical to me :rotfl:

Hi again Emma,

That's a good deal - we're going a day too early to get any offers on hotel rooms :sad1:

Its kind of how I make sesame chicken..... Now that is very very very tasty dish!!

Bob xoxoxox

beef chow mein

That would be Robert's choice..... Sometimes I think I should just grill that boy a cow and give him a knife and fork!!! Having said that he's really into pork at the minute!

I'm the same - I'll only touch it when it's mixed with garlic...

Am I strange?

Dont think Ive ever had it mixed with garlic but do eat it mixed with mustard.

Do you really want me to answer the question about being strange? :rotfl: :rotfl:
