OK, I am onn my third pair of mitts for DS (almost 3yo) and still havn't been able to find a pair that doesn't slip off - exposing his wrists and having snow get in there and down into his mitts and sleeves. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this? Today, as I pulled up his mitts for the millionth time and tried to tuck in his snowsuit sleeves I thought to myself I should patent some type of mitt/cardigan combo - kinda like "sleeve-gaiters" for kids - LOL. Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a 19mth old and we always put his mitts on first and then his coat so they stay tucked in. Also we bought mitts from the Gap that velcro all the way up the mitt so they're really easy to put on stubby little toddler hands!! HTH, Jen

I work in a daycare with 10 Babies and 15 Toddlers. What we have found best to keep mitts on is to wrap a piece of masking tape around the wrist area. Not too tight, just tight enough that it will not slip over their hand. It keeps them on and it is easy to take off when you need to remove the mittens. Good luck.
