My hubby sadly went out and took his flag off the car before bed last night......sad to see them lose that game. But..........they finally made it to the playoffs, didn't get swept and pushed it to game 7. Team with potential.
Can't wait til next year. They made great strides this year.
I'm more disappointed with some of the Toronto newspapers and individual reporters and how they seem to take pride in trashing the Leafs. It is almost like they couldn't wait for the Leafs to lose.
Watched the recap and can not believe how quickly they lost control. Not really a leafs fan but certainly not a Boston fan (there are a few players I like but I can't stand Chara - gets way more credit than he deserves).
the NHL is a business and they are going to put their promotions where it will lmake them the most $$$ -- which means, not Stanley Cup in Toronto. There is NO need to promote the NHL in Toronto, as Leafs fans already eagerly pay the highest prices for everything, from merchandise to tickets, and next year they are raising the prices again -- and Leafs fans will pay it-- it will be another 60 years before the Leafs get a cup -- ...
