I have been doing some organizing! I have some of the square, fabric bins and some baskets to put on shelves in the mudroom. Since it's the first thing people see, I'd like it to look nice and I wanted someway to label them for the item or person the bin is for. Any suggestions for how to label them so I have a chance at people putting things where they belong? I was thinking something along the lines of a luggage tag on the handles, but I want it to look decorative and hold up. I didn't like dh's idea of duct tape and a Sharpie.

I printed what I wanted the tag to say (or have a picture of, for the kids toys) and used laminating sheets I bought at Walmart. They're 8.5x11 sheets and you peel them apart, put whatever you want in between and close them back up. Punch a hole in the corner and tie w/ ribbon!

Check out the xyron machines. you can make all sort of stickers.
They come in many sizes and you can always find a 40% off coupon at Michaels craft stores to us.
I have two sizes for scrapbooking and love the things.
