i'm going on a trip to Paris with school soon (weeell .. next year :P, but im already counting down!), and i'm wondering what kind of experiences people here have had in Paris?
i know this isn't disney-related, and i hope no one minds, i was just thinking that there must be people here who've been to dlp, which means they must've been in paris!
so, if anyone can share some experiences with me, i'd really appreciate it! :goodvibes

by the way, i'm fluent in french, so the language shouldn't be a major problem. :P

We love Paris - its the most beautiful city.

We did 2 day trips there from DLP last month- read my trippie for more info (Yeeha a fistful of Euros - I think part 3a and part 6 were Paris days). We also did a trip there last summer from DLP - again more info in trippie (Silver Celebration - part 3). You can find links to these in the trip report index at top of page.

Where abouts are you staying? Do you know?

My experience of Paris is so far limited to one day and I did the thing every tourist to Paris does ;) ...... I went up the Eiffel Tower. The views were absolutely fantastic. :thumbsup2

You are going to one of the most beautiful cities IMHO :goodvibes
There is much to see and plenty to absorb during a visit.

If you look at the trip index you'll find a few who have posted up day trips to Paris and longer :)

How long is your trip for ?
Are you also visiting other places in Europe ?

I'm not sure yet where we're staying :confused3, they haven't let us know yet, because I don't think the hotel is definite yet.
Although I believe my teacher mentioned something about Hotel Petit Louvre, but i'm not sure if they're positive about that yet.
And also, I will definitly check out your trip report! :thumbsup2

I'm sure I will be on here quite a few times :)
To answer your questionss, my trip is for 10-11 days, and I will also be spending 4 days in London!
It's going to be my first trip to anywhere in Europe, i'm so excited! :)

There has been a few posters who have combined trips to London and Paris.
Wear Bears I recall normally begins her trips with some time in London so that will get you excited if you pull them up from the trip reports :)

I LOVE Paris. There is a lot to see and do, and the people are much friendlier than people make out!
It is a very BUSY city tho, with lots of traffic. Can be quite noisy.
Also, and I don't mean this to offend, but it can bea dirty place too in some areas. Some people find it is a lot to be desired. But me personally, I just love Paris!
