Does anyone have one that they love or hate?

Or an online place with great deals?

I don't need too fancy, just hi speed internet, word documents, the normal stuff.

Thanks for any and all advice!

Susy

as far as brands my favorites are dell and toshiba. I have a toshiba and have had it for 4 years and it still runs great! most laptops die by then! also I think dell just has good qualiry stuf! good luck!:cheer2:

I also have a Toshiba, it's about 3 or 4 years now and it's still running great! I highly recommend them. :thumbsup2

We just got an IBM Thinkpad...this is what DF uses for work and he is happy with it so we bought one for an extra around the house...we bought a used one from Ebay and love it...it was a little over $400.

I have a dell.. and I love it:love: .. I have many programs on it due to my school work and it works great..

Dell here as well, and only some minor probs with the power source. Payed $1000, but mine is a desktop replacement. You can get a great deal for about $500 w/ everything( CD/DVD burner, Microsoft, wireless internet, etc..)

DH loves dell. In fact, I'm using his Dell right now! He needs a new one, and I'm :scared1: over the cost of the one he wants...don't worry, he wants it for video editing! We got his mom a basic dell laptop with wireless and it was pretty reasonable, I recall...

I'm going to check out all the ones you mentioned.

Will let you know what I get!

Pixie dust,

Susy
