So lately I've had a lot weighing on my mind... um, like the future of this country and my horror that Belinda Stronach might run for the leader of the Liberal party. I mean, less than 2 years ago she runs for the head of the new Conservative Party and now she might run for the head of the Liberal party... Talk about a swing! I think she's just power hungry... but I digress...
Anyway, in my dream, I run for the leadership because I don't want Belinda to win. HAHAHAHAHA and I caused quite an uproar about my attire because I wore jeans and my pink converse to a debate and I stated I would refuse to live in 24 Sussex because I saw on the Mercer Report that it's not properly insulated for winter!
So which DIS'er has 1/2 a million for a 26 year old female from Toronto to run for the leadership? In true Liberal fashion, I'll give you a lucrative job!
The kicker to all this is I've never voted Liberal in a Federal Election! Granted, this was only my 3rd fed. elections... actually my 4th, but Elections Canada wouldn't let me vote the first time around b/c I wasn't registered (I was at college) in that riding and I would have to go vote in my parent's riding... I get told this on Election Day. Sure, let me get on that 6 hour round trip and make it back for my 2 p.m. class... I'm sure I could have contested it, but I didn't know better at the time.
