Hi guys,
I have just purchased a new math curriculum that I am totally excited about. (Moving with Math) It is geared for preK and K. My boys are 18 months apart and I am thinking I can use this for both of them. The first few chapters are too easy for the older one but just right for the little one. Plus the little one is only 4 and we don't do much "required schoolwork" for him. He does like to do little activity books and picks stuff up very quickly. That is actually part of the problem--the older one is not as intuitive when it comes to learning and I really want to maintain a difference between them. It is hard for that older one when we are say working on phonics and his little brother says the word he has been trying to sound out. So, while I want to keep them separate, at the same time, I am thinking my life would be a lot easier if I could teach them together you know?

Anyway I am rambling a bit. Basically wondering how do you keep a difference between older and younger sibs and yet not feel like you are totally scattered teaching so many different levels? I have a 9 you too who obviously is at a different level and that works fine. I think it is just because these two are so close that I am having a hard time with it. We do all do science, history and art together.
