It was pure heaven!! Not cheap mind, so it will have to be reserved for special occasions and big treats!

You would have loved the Creme Brulee's they had on the cake counter Small World.... Lovely Creme Brulee's with crispy sugar topping, also topped with chocolate curls and a strawberry....

They also had lovely looking french bread, croissants, etc..... Oh, and smoked salmon vol-au-vents, sandwiches..... But with all those lovely sweet treats around it wasn't much of a contest....!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! Sounds a heavenly place. Not so much about the chocs but am thinking about the pastries/smoked salmon vol-au-vents.... and the Creme Brulee. Mmmmm lol. That link didn't work for me though.

Hi everyone

I've had a rather nice day.... My Mum took me to the new local chocolate shop (http://www.cabossechocolates.co.uk/). We had hot chocolate and petit fours... OMG! They were AMAZING! The hot chocolate was real hot chocolate made with chopped chocolate and cream on the stove..... You get either three petit fours or three chocolates with them. We both went for the former option, both of us chosing a white chocolate and strawberry one, a peach and blueberry one (my personal fave!). Then I had a coffee choux bun and my Mum had a raspberry baba (They do rum baba's too- Something I haven't seen in years!).... Absolute heaven!!

Right, I'm off to bed. Got an early start tomorrow as we are driving up north to Birmingham to see Disney on Ice. Nearly had to walk there as the suspension went on our car on Wednesday, luckily managed to get it sorted today.

Yeahy!! I'm doing some planning and costings today, but fingers crossed were going. My brother has managed to get us some really good flight discounts and when we go (!) my brother should be living over there by that time too so I can go and visit him

I bought all the animal Christmas presents today!!

For my animals:

Link (Hamster)- A Snack Shack tunnel.
Bracken and Willow (Rabbits)- A Bunny rabbit pop up tent for the garden....

Other animals:

My Brothers Hamster (Harry)- A little toy ball to play with.
Family friend's dogs (Caspar and Harley)- Little Christmas shaped doggie biscuits.
Family friend's cat (Fudge)- Turkey and Cranberry Christmas cat treats.
My Aunt and Uncle's dog (Bunty)- A box of Christmas doggie treats (Done like a box of chocs with a little bow!)
My Aunt and Uncle's Chinchilla- Chinchilla Pizzas.
My Aunt and Uncle's adopted evil Lovebird- Birdie muffins.

Animals like Christmas too!!

Plus, bought Robert and Ipod for Christmas so I am now skint!

My daughters cat is going to be thoroughly spoiled this christmas! He is only 15months old and was hit by a car on wednesday night He managed to make his way back to our house and we found him on thursday morning. He has a fractured pelvis and has lost most of his claws but it could have been a lot worse. He is now housebound for 4-6 wks but at least he is still with us.
