Wow, early!! I normally put mine up the first weekend of December.

Evening all. I'm still full of cold, same as some of you! I've been doing a it of Christmas/birthday shopping and have just bought a Nintendo ds plus Brain Training for my DD for £89.98 from Amazon.:woohoo: I do love a bargain. I'm going to get us both an ipod shuffle next week for Christmas. Can't afford a nano.:sad1: Now I've just got to decide what to buy middle DD.

Anyone else got any good Christmas bargains lately?

Yes December is soon enough for me as well - I couldnt cope with it this early.

How are you today? any better?

Yes I do feel a little better thank you. Stomach still abit funny and had my smear test today - what fun!! Lols

There is a great thread over on the UK community board they are reporting the bargains they are finding!!!

If you go to www.hmv.co.uk you will find loads of Disney DVDs for £4.99

and Bailleys in Adsa at the moment £5 a bottle ;)

I've bought a few refurbs iPods from here :)

It is a great place to grab a bargain - we bought our last laptop from there. DH however bought a new one in Terminal 5 last week and got a great deal or so i was told ;)

You'll have to hope the tag fairy takes pity on you and visits you again soon

Yes... Just make sure you don't stray beyond the DLRP board, then maybe the you-know-what might visit some other people while they're here.

Not me though - I'm too busy to be tagged - I don't write enough to be suitably witty :lmao:

Ooo, were they good? My Mam loves Colin Fry..... She's got a signed book by him....

Bob xoxox

I was VERY impressed with him, seriously has made me wonder about things!!:scared1:
I can't express how brilliant TJ Hicks was, she is amazing also! I felt so drained after though because I was crying!:rotfl: (well to be honest I reckon you woulda have to have been a tough cookie not to have felt like that:sad1: )
There was NO way they were making up the stuff as they went along they were defo 'hearing' something!!!!! And the amount of things they both said that only that certain person would know was unbelievable ie TJ knew that a young lass kept a wee note her fiance had left before he died in the zip part of her bag in a little pocket. And Colin knew things that people had said to themselves out loud in their own house when they were talking to their loved ones (he knew WHEN they said it too and what rooms they were in when they were saying it). I came out of there feeling pretty truamatised! Thank goodness no one came to me because there was no way on earth I was going to be able to talk!

Oh and he was wearing a kilt (mmmm lovelyyyyy) and after the show he walked past me and he is smaller than me!!;) He was signing his books:)

I went there hoping it would have been good and it was better than that, I swear I can't believe they could make that up, its just not possible!

Sorry for going on and on about it but there was abit where Colin got upset, you could hear it in his voice, he was talking to a young boy that past over and he wanted to speak to his mum (he was only 10 years old) and his mum was there (with his wee sister and dad) and there was stuff his mum whispered to him while he was in hospital and Colin knew exactly what she said!!

Anyway I better go I've yapped too much:) !

Thanks. I will keep an eye on the refurb stuff here as I have a mac too. I quite like the idea of getting it laser etched for free from here.

I will be off to Asda to check out the £5 Baileys too!

I love a bargain or a freebie! (Now there's a tag for the benevolent fairy)lol

You must have strong hands to carve a butternut squash. I can just about peel one. I admit I have no upper body strength - it's shameful!
