Well we had a traditional wedding so we had a traditional 4 tier fruit cake. My mum is a cake decorator so she made them and decorated them herself, they were really nice!!

I think we will have 2 different tiers. But jack is incredibly excited about our cake tasting session. So I think it's perhaps the only option I won't plan in advance! Lol.

How did I miss the bridesmaid dress links?!?! Off to look now!!! EEeeee!

So is anyone doing anything nice this weekend? My baby nephew is visiting. I haven't seen him for 3 months so I'm sure he will look huge now!!

I want chocolate cake with baileys mousse (if i get a WDW cake)

but jack doesnt like baileys....:(

yum, baileys mousse. I remember having that some where as a desert at WDW, can't remember where though. :confused3

Awww,

I'm going up north to stay with my Uni friend and her husband for a night and then to stay with Jack's friend from school and his fiance - jack's going to be his best man so I'm sure there'll be a lot of planning!

Gosh, all this talk about WDW makes me want to start planning now. I'll be 40 in 2012 and I've already told hubby I'd like to go to WDW as my 'treat'. Actually, hang on, I am going to WDW as my 'treat' lol. The kids will be 10 and 7 then, so perfect age really! Will have to start reading the WDW board to get some tips. Might pick up a brochure or three when I'm in town tomorrow.

Bob, those 2 dresses are gorgeous !!! Love the colour!

Love both dresses!!!!!!! :)

Beautiful!!!!!!!

He he... They just fit our colour scheme so well! I figured I could buy them black wraps or boleros to go with them as well for the winter weather...

Yummm can you send me some to try ppllleeeeaassseee????

If I can ever find a recipe!!!

My Mam's best friend decorates cakes beautifully too! What did you have on your cake? I'm assuming if it was traditional it was a hard iced white cake?

It's my birthday on Friday (21 again) but as hubby's working, we're all going out for lunch on Saturday instead. There's a new (well, not so new now) French restaurant here which is fab! (Torsie - have you heard of it? It's called Le Cassoulet in South Croydon). Other than that, no other plans.. and I expect a lie-in on Saturday (ie 7 am lol).

Ooh, I want to see some Olympic stuff too. I'd love to see a few track and field events, some swimming and some netball.

I thought DD was asleep however her Jump In CD has just started again for the 3rd time tonight!

I esp want swimming/diving but I'm sure those will be snapped up a.s.a.p but am happy if I can get gymnastics, track & field, badminton... erm... anything really except boxing, judo, that kinda thing.
