Am I the only one who found some of the CRB question 'situations' slightly amusing.

My dad read me his questionnaire thingy he had to do for his sports coaching he does - very fuuny Q's

Could have been an independent thing to CRB though, so forgive me if im getting them confused. Could well be as isnt it Criminal Record something?

Not quite true

This is one of the things I find slightly daft about the CRB checks. They're only valid for the location you have them done (I'm told they don't really check your record for the entire UK very deeply), plus they're only a "snapshot", so who knows what crimes you've committed since your last CRB check

Then again, I've got the same CRB clearance, so I put the same trust in the system you do.

I hate the system though - I hate the fact that you need seperate checks for each organisation you work for. I do children related work for 2 very similar groups, but officially need checks for both.

I took a look at your netbook discussions - that one looks reasonable, though I think I'd personally have gone for the linux version because I'm not sure how well windows works with the small screen. I haven't really tried them though, so it might be ok

Yes thank you it did, very emotional during the hymn 'How Great Thou Art' as this was my Dad's favourite and we had it at his funeral 5 years ago. I really felt for my cousin though he was in pieces afterwards.
