I love holidays too.... :goodvibes This year we've been away twice, and then we're going away overnight in the new year. I'd never stayed in a hotel before DLRP either, so it was an amazing treat!

Bob xoxoxox

I think I may have had a few too many trips abroad and mini holidays this year :rotfl:

By the end of 2008, I will have visited:

January - DLRP
March (start) - Slovenia
March (end) - Vienna
July - DLRP
September - Seattle / California
November - Bad Pyrmont (Germany)

Becoming involved in European Quakers has been a really bad influence for me - I've developed a real taste for travelling recently :lmao:

You can never have too many holidays :rotfl:

Haha, travel is never a bad thing!!

I worked it out once and I've spent like 9% of my life abroad or something like that. (But mainly thanks to my big stints in LA and Peru)

I really dont like england too much, compared to other places ive been.

Something that makes you travel loads cant be a bad influene either rob. :)

Oooh- now you're here, have you read back over my netbook talk?

You can never have too many holidays :rotfl:

Next year is looking no better so far:

January - DLRP
March - Slovenia (I hope)
May - New York / Vegas
November - Brussels (almost certainly)

I'm also debating about whether I can squeeze in a Syria trip over Easter, but it depends on how many holiday days I have left and the cost and travelling time. I think I might be one short for the Syria trip, which means I won't see my Quaker friends for a whole year, which will be a shame :sad2:

Go on do it - you know you want to :rotfl:

Theres also a big gap betwen May and November - how will you cope without a trip?

I'm quite impressed with my holiday destinations this year (I've never been fortunate enough to do this before):
Disneyland, Hollywood, Las Vegas, Disneyland Paris x 3! Oh and a weekend in Filey on the East coast!!

I noticed you were asking, but haven't read a great deal yet. I'll look back a few pages.

I'm supposed to be reading, but can't get stuck into it for some reason tonight... Fortunately, I've only got a small reading load this week (about 50 pages), so I can spare a night.

That's just what I've planned so far... There will almost definitely be something small in between May and November, but I have to be careful because I start my final project in January so have to go easy on the holidays. The May one is placed right in my uni holiday, so won't affect anything.

I guess I'll just have to save for something big when I finish my course instead (cough - tokyo / california :lmao: )

Hey Rob, are you doing the next bit of your Disneyland trip report? I'm waiting to see the pics!!

Wow, that is a good year!

Mine was only:

DLRP, La gomera

But 2007 was:

Vegas, LA, Marrakech, La Gomera, Paris - so a pretty good year :)

My ultimate travelling year ever was:

Vienna, Athens, Berlin, La Gomera, New York and Peru, lol. Back in the days when I didnt have to pay for myself!!

OK, I'm quite worried about Emmas sluething. Is she trying to see if she is being driven to DLRP and staying there with a mad woman :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I will be, but I can't promise when I'm afraid - my reading load is stopping me doing anything interesting right now...

If you want the pictures though, then the galleries can be found here and here - that's everything I took and my TR photos will come from that huge list. There's about 900 spread across the 2 galleries though, so it might take a while to work through them all :goodvibes
