Evening! I'm pricing up our dream honeymoon and it ain't looking promising because of how much £££ it will cost!! :sad1: We'll see though.

Did you have a good day at work Small World?

So what is the dream Bob???

Do any of you have a netbook?

I want to get one next month and would love some reviews...

Ive got one. We got it last month coz of my DISing habits. I only use it for internet though so far so cant comment on anything else.

ACER Aspire one. What do you want to know?

Travel to London, stay overnight in a very nice hotel (I've got down £235 a night roughly) then get the Eurostar to Disney directly, stay two nights in the DLH, then get the Eurostar back, have another night in a posh hotel in London, and then travel back home. For this five day Honeymoon, excluding our travel to London and back, we're looking at 1.5k!!! I just don't know if it'll be do-able once we factor in expenses like food, etc....

Just that they are good, and if a cheaper one with the same specs as a more expensive one (i.e. Acer vs Dell) is the better option.

I'm gonna buy it outright and then get a PAYG 3 dongle thingy, as its mainly jsut for wifi but then I can DIS whilst on the go and stuff.

Lol, hahaha, no I'm very glad my name isn't tortoise!!

I would have got picked on A LOT at school!!!! :rotfl:

I got enough stick for being named like 'the bird' so I can only imagine what a child called 'Tortoise' would get!

Mmm, it is a lot, especially for only 2 nights at disney. I'd scrap the london bits but then a londoner will always say that.

For £1.5k your could go to wdw for over a week too!

Argh!!! I went to WDW at that price for two weeks! That is expensive but then again it is your honeymoon....

I was just looking at upgrades for our trip and its only £100 more to stay at the Hotel New York but £350 for the Disneyland Hotel - doubling the cost of our holiday :scared1: ... think I wil stay at the Sequoia I'm excited as I'm hoping it will be lovely for Xmas anayway :goodvibes

I've only based that on this years prices- It's £862 for two nights at the DLH in Feb.....

Might scrap the London bits anyway.... Seems like a lot of travel really.... We'd probs be too knackered to do anything!

Bob xoxoxo

I would skip the London bit Bob and go from Newcastle - you have the choice of easyjet or Air France (which is quite cheap when you look on expedia as part of package and has better flights times and choice)...and I would add on extra days hehehe!!:)

Yeah, its ridiculous money, and I have no qualms about hotel costs but even I find DLH extortionate! Hence why I went for cheapest season, free night offer!

I recon you should go see another (american and more reasonably priced) disney park for your disneymoon. Make it a week or two together for a similar price. (food and souvenirs are also a lot cheaper.)

I personally want a very far flung and looong honeymoon, but am budgeting A LOT for it. My dad is really insistent that it matters more then the wedding so I'm lucky there!

Jack wants a 4 week one but I can't leave Bella that long.

I really like the one we got. DH is the expert and he chose it. Ive just asked him and he said hes not sure if it works with a dongle. Ive only used it so far at home but hoping to test it this weekend when we go to Cambridge - Im looking for Wifi access to be able to log on for a chat :rotfl:

Cool, can I ask where you got it? And how much?

Is it linux as I've never used linux....

I'm looking at this one:

Or for £20 more you can get a windows xp one thats blue.

I really want to have a few days in WDW then go to a Sandals or similar place just to chill and be spoiled. :)
