Has anyone been to Futurescope in France?

As far as I can tell from the limited information that I have, Futurescope & DLP are linked door to door by TGV.

Any views as to whether a combined trip would be worth it?

Yes I've been to Futuroscope in Poitiers, and had a very pleasant day. I suppose it has a little similar feel to it to Epcot, however most of the attractions had an educational feel to them, so it may not be suitable for younger children. We also went when it was warm and the sun was shining and I think that this may have also added to our enjoyment. I don't know about the TGV link to DLP, because we drove so I can't help with that query. Carolyn

My son had a pleasant day at Futuroscope but was disappointed that a couple of the main attractions were closed for rehab at the same time...... I believe if it is 'off-season' they do close a few attractions down, but why not call their UK line?

If you go to the UK section of their website there is a tel no in UK to call during office hours.

There is a direct TGV service from Marne La Vallee to Poitiers according to their site - it is a long way but on a high sped line may get you there quite quickly? I don't know, but why not call their line?

Please do tell us what you find out :)

I should add that everything is in French and you need to ask for their translation sets ...... they are not as geared up for international guests as DLP are.
