In our local newspaper this morning was an article about Disney's Victoria and Albert Restaurant at GF no longer allowing children under 10. While not a problem for me for 2 reasons #1- no kids & #2- wouldn't eat there anyway, I thought I'd give a head's up to those who are considering dining there.

Also - the old Odessey Restaurant at Epcot is being re-designed & will open in 2009 as a new restaurant called "Rattatouie's". I wondered how long it would take them to incorporate this movie into one of the theme parks!!

Hey that's pretty cool news, I know my daughter will love that (the new restaurant, not being excluded from V&A's). I just hope there won't be any mice scurrying around in the dining room, that would just be gross ;) !

What and where was the Odessey? I've never heard of that one.

Odyssey is at Epcot. It's close to Test Track and overlooks the water. There's a baby care and first aid center there now. We ate there on our first trip way back in 1990.

It's also a shortcut to the beer in Mexico. Ah, Dos Equis.

I wondered how long it would take them to put something back in there. With the popularity of the Dining Plan, they need more TS places in Epcot. Good choice! Maybe they'll put a bar there along with some good beer choices!

BTW, even though this is a Camping thread, we eat too! But most people who stay in the nice resorts probably don't think we'd eat any place other than the campground. :lmao:

Yes now I remember the short cut to the beer in Mexico:cool1: . I never knew the name of that place. As far back as I can remember they have special events there. I can always see the food inside but they never let me in.:confused3 If they wont let us poor old campers in there, then hide it!:rotfl2:
