OT- Flying w/ 10-month old???

There is also a carrier that I have seen on websites specifically for carrying the little ones on your lap. If my memory is correct it is between $20 and $40. It is approved for airlines. We are probably going to get a couple since we will be traveling with 2 one year olds and buy a seat for the 2 year old.

We flew to Disney last summer when DS was 11 months. We brought our own car seat (Britix) because I was worried about the 'what ifs' on the plane. Also we were at the doctor for a routine visit a few days before we left and DD started telling all about HER big trip. Dr. asked if we had ever flown with DS before, when I said no he suggested a tsp. of Benedryl a 1/2 hr before take off. DS fell asleep before the plane even left the gate. When we arrived at MCO another passanger commented on how great he was during the flight! I did the same thing with the Benedryl when we flew home, he didn't sleep but the plane hit a lot of turbulance (belts on and remain sitting the whole way back) but he was very calm and didn't fuss.

Good Luck!
