Okay this it totally off the topic of WDW. But it will totallly help me look better for our up coming trip. I have started noticing these nasty black circles under my eyes. :scared1: I am in need of some good eye cream. Can any of you wonderful ladies suggest any.

TIA

I am the eye cream queen..I have yet to find anything that rids my eye totally of the darkness underneath. So I recommend a cream and a concealer.I will tell you I now use Olay pro eye and have seen some great results( it is about $40 though and I have been using the same bottle for 6 months).I am also in love with the concealer..called IT bye bye undereye.I ordered it thru Beauty.com . Again it isn't cheap and the tube looks small, but you only use a teeny amount to cover.I will tell you the colors tend to run a little lighter too.

I have used 2 things for under eye darkness and puffiness; both are Mary Kay products.

The first is Firming Eye Cream - it firms the area and has light diffusers to make the area appear lighter. This gives immediate results.
The second is Targeted Action Eye Revitalizer - this is for darkness that's more than you stayed up too late last night. You need to be consistent and use it daily (or even twice a day) to get results. This will give you significant results over time.
You can go to marykay.com to find a rep in your area.

I agree with PP that a good concealer can help; be sure to use small amounts as concealer is thicker and can magnify fine lines. And let all other eye product dry throughly before applying concealer.

HTH!

Here are my recommendations. Like someone else said, a good concealer can greatly help with the uner-eye circles/darkness, also, but a good eye cream is always a must.

Anyway, I use Shiseido Benefiance Anti-Wrinkle eye cream. I love it. I was noticing some very fine lines, and since I've been using this, they've greatly decreased. It also helps somewhat with my under-eye circles; however, I use Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer under my eyes and it's awesome. It conceals the darkness beautifully. It has a bit of irredescence in it that reflects light, thus diminishing the circles. You only need a tiny bit and it's very soft and doesn't settle into any little lines you might have. I use #1, but you might need a different color based on your skin tone. Sephora carries the Make Up Forever so you can try it out on your hand to check for the shade (or you can look at it online at their website) and I buy the Shiseido at Macy's.

Also, if the Shiseido doesn't work for you, I've recently begun using Cosmedicine SPF 20 day cream and Private Nurse night cream. I believe they have an eye cream also. I can't attest to that product because I haven't used it, but their other creams that I do use are fantastic. You might want to check them out. Also, the old standby, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair eye cream is another great product. I used that for years, but switched to the Shiseido because I felt my skin needed something different as I was starting to see those very fine lines. I think maybe it just stopped working as well since I used it for so long.

Good luck with your search!

clinique all about eyes and bare minerals powder concealer and also smashbox photo finish eye primer...it's about a hundred for all of them but you get what you pay for...mary kay makes my eyes sWELL SHUT I will never buy that cheap stuff ever...

I would try to pinpoint the cause of the dark circles and use a concealer to minimize them in the meantime. Do you have allergies or sleep issues?

I just had a hysterectomy 2 1/2 weeks ago...my whole skin has changed. I am oily in places I never was before & dry in places I never was before. I have noticed the eye issues has came about since my surgery. I am hoping once my hormones balance back out that things will get back to normal.
